DESCRIPTION:

Chip Resetter for Canon CLI-226 and PGI-225 cartridges will reset the OEM Canon CLI-226 and Canon PGI-225 cartridge chips to "new" specs, allowing your printer to recognize the cartridge as new when you refill it. This resetter will yield thousands of successful resets, and is battery powered. Now you can finally refill the Canon CLI-226 and PGI-225 cartridges successfully, and reset the chips on the cartridges so the printer won't know the difference!

The resetter is guaranteed to work on Original brand Canon CLI226 and Original brand Canon PGI225 cartridge chips, but may not work on "compatible chips" manufactured by 3rd parties. As long as you are refilling a genuine Canon CLI226 or PGI225 cartridge, this resetter is 100% guaranteed to bring your chips back to 100% new specifications.

The main purpose of the Chip is to monitor ink levels and to provide an on-screen message telling you that the cartridge is running low or is empty. Your Chip Resetter allows you to restore this function and once you have refilled your cartridge you can resume full use just as it did when it was new.
Inkjet chip resetters

1. - Slide the cartridge, chip facing downward, into the guide.
2. - Push the cartridge down to ensure that the Chip touches the contact plate.
3. - A short flash signals the contact has been made, followed by a continuous LED-light which tells you that the programming has been successfully completed. The cartridge can now be removed.
4. - To reprogram the larger black cartridge just take the guide adapter off the slide.

Note: Chip Resetters come in Red or Blue but function the same.
